When you purchase a great quality high security lock, you will quickly find out that it can become a expensive upfront cost for simple security. So after spending an expense such as this, you would expect that when you need it to be rekeyed – that it would be possible. You are incorrect. Each manufacturer has there own twist that they add to their product. One may be that, it cannot be rekeyed. One may be that it can only be rekeyed with a special item. Medeco High Security Locks

These locks are very popular. Medeco is a well known company with a great reputation. Their high security locks require the use of a control key to rekey, which only the locksmith that installed your lock set will have possession of. Without this, you will have to purchase a new lock.

Mul-T-Lock High Security Locks

Okay, so these locks are very popular too. The one huge difference between these and Medeco locks is that these locks cannot be rekeyed. So if you get locked out, lose your keys, or laid off an employee – you will need to get a new lock.

Schlage High Security Locks

Along with Mul-T-Lock and Medeco locks, Schlage locks are widely known as well. For good reason, these high security locks can be rekeyed.

Although, not so much for Las Vegas. Las Vegas unemployment rate is the 2nd highest in the nation. No signs to show that it will go down. More businesses are laying off workers than there are businesses hiring. Though we think that you should keep an eye out for some of those companies that do decide to take advantage and expand.
